no hope
So today I was registering for the SAT and the counselor handed me a copy of my transcript to help answer some of the questions. I looked at my class rank and I’m 7 out of 36. My cumulative GPA is only 2.5. And I’m still one of the top ten students in the 11th grade.  what the hell.

tumblr user: apples are delicious
another tumblr user: wow um who are you to say whether or not apples are delicious?? that's totally subjective you should've said "*I* think apples are delicious" and even then fuck you how do you think that makes oranges and pears feel? there are all types of different fruit and they're all delicious in their own way and don't need to be judged by assholes like you
another tumblr user: ^^^ This.

Sometimes I like to imagine what kind of parent I’d be. I would want to take my kids to museums, aquariums, parks, and other educational places, we’d take “field trips” often. They would grow up in the library. Cable TV wouldn’t be an option; I grew up on PBS kids. I think I had one Spongebob VHS. And none of the garbage kids movies they show in theatres now. That...

Today, a girl in my biology class, who is also a student in my TA class, asked me if I’d lost weight. When I said yes, she said she could tell.  When people you hardly know start to take notice, you know you’re doing something right. Day = Made.

thecuriousbrontosaurus asked: i find serial killers fascinating as well and while i've never written to any, i don't see why you're getting so much heat for researching them and talking to them. so long as you're not one of those crazies that sends them marriage proposals, i think you're well within your rights of curiosity XD

I think I’m going to write a letter to Richard Ramirez, especially since I hear he often writes back. It’d be interesting, but how does one even begin a letter to a serial killer? I’ve seen some of the letters other girls send to him and his 15-year-old fangirls freak me out more than he does. But I’m going to do it. Maybe I’ll draw him a picture with it. Hm.

A few weeks ago, my best friend was home sick from school. Everyone was wondering where she was, how she was. My other friend Chelsea and I drove to Quiznos at lunch and bought soup for her. Our teachers wanted us to call her to see if she was okay. We all were texting her, talking to her. She came back the next day, she just had the same thing everyone else had. Everyone cared so much. I, on...

I actually have to go to school tomorrow. My doctors’ notes haven’t excused me for this week. But I know I’m not going to go to bed anytime soon.  I like sleeping, a lot. But it’s such a hard thing for me to do, at night anyway. Maybe that’s why I like it so much. It’s like a luxury.  But it’s quiet at night. I have time to think, my mom isn’t...

I saw “The Secret World Of Arrietty” earlier and it was pretty good. As I expected from a Studio Ghibli film, the animation was transfixing and beautiful. The music was also really good. I did think the plot to be pretty slow, however, and I was bored at some parts. Probably my least favourite Ghibli movie. Nonetheless, it was unique and well put together. I’d give it a B.
